HR Information Systems presents HR management systems that accelerate and optimise processes in many companies, help HR specialists and executives in their work and affect numerous other areas of operation. The course provides information on the various benefits of information systems, HR information strategies, the functions of computerised information systems, technical infrastructures (HR information system, HR/company intranet, B2E portal), system feature assessment processes, effective systems, methods of designing corporate information systems and applications (staff records, B2E, HR planning, job-leaving rate monitoring and management, staff development, recruitment, career management and remuneration, performance management, .).

The objective of this course is to describe the position and role of this component in relation to other HRM components and the operation of companies. The students will get familiar with the key concepts, the benefits of HR information systems and HR information strategies and, after graduating, will be able to describe the key roles and benefits of information systems used in HRM, will be familiar with the key tools (applications) and, knowing relevant system assessment criteria, will know the aspects and principles of designing technical solutions suitable for the implementation/design of such information systems.
