Synopsis:

Principal arrangement of the manufacturing system. Technical tools of automation - NC machines, CNC and DNC systems. Industrial robots and manipulators. Kinematics, dynamics and construction industrial robots and manipulators. Application of industrial robots and manipulators in the manufacturing. Automated technological workplaces with robots and manipulators. Pre-manufacturing subsystems and their computer support - CAD, CAP, CAPP, CAM etc. Principles of CIM systems, industrial computer networks.

A student has to obtain a credit before an examination

1.Manufacturing system characteristics, basic structures, subsystems

2.Manufacturing process - structure, examples of electrical production

3.Technological subsystem of manufacturing system - structure, automation

4.NC machines and their programming, CNC and DNC systems

5.Requirements on the industrial robots and manipulators in the technological processes

6.Kinematics and dynamics of industrial robots and manipulators

7.Control and programming of industrial robots and manipulators

8.Automated technological workplaces with industrial robots and manipulators

9.Complex automated production cells, sections, lines and systems

10.Preparation and control of production, partial subsystems, computer support

11.Design of products, inputs and outputs, CAD

12.Technology preparation, inputs and outputs, CAP

13.Computer integrated system (CIM) - basic functions and tools

14.Technical requirements and standardisation of safety of electrical project.
