- Synopsis:
-
Computer algebra system Maple is used to demonstrate basic mathematical concepts that students encounter in subjects Mathematics 1 (AE0B01MA1, AE3B01MA1, AE7B01MAA, YE01MA1) and Introductory Algebra (AE0B01LAA, AE0B01LAG,AE7B01LAG, YE01ALG). Seminars provide both computational and graphical examples with particular emphasis on problems whose solution without Maple is either difficult or impossible.
