Syllabus of lectures:

The basic algorithms for modeling of two-dimensional and three-dimensional data.

Raster and vector graphics.

Data visualization and multimedia systems.

Input and output devices. Computer graphics hardware devices.

The representation of the object and data structure, data formats.

Construction of curves and surfaces. Construction of contour lines and isosurfaces. Spline curves and surfaces. Geometric transformation.

Projection methods.

The principle of stereoscopic perception. The problem of visibility. Methods of lighting and shading. Surface texture and volume.

Study Objective:

The aim of the subject is to acquaint students with basic methods for displaying multidimensional data in general so as to give observers an idea of organizing data in space and also take into account the important characteristics where the data is located.
