The purpose of this course is to get a basic overview of the knowledge and skills for self-protection and mutual assistance in the field of population. Course content is focused on the behavioral options for warning the population, evacuation notice, ways of sheltering people, to make improvised respiratory protection, along the body surface and on the basis of emergency measures to ensure the survival of the population. The following gives information on the principles of humanitarian action and preventive educational activities are supplemented by interpretations of selected multimedia materials.

Introduction to the study and description of the subject of the „Survival of the Emergency and Humanitarian Action.“

Basic concepts of the problem.
Constitutional Laws, Legislation, Government, Ministry of Interior, the specific measures.
Methods and means of warning the population, warning signs, emergency information, general principles of the behavior of the population.
Basic terms of evacuation, evacuation scope, implementation methods of evacuations, authorities for the management of evacuations, emergency baggage, featured content luggage.
Basic concepts, collective protection shelters still CO shelters built subsequently, improvised shelters, starting your own shelter, etc.
Identification of the means of individual protection, improvised respiratory protections, and body surface.
System of emergency measures to ensure the survival of the population (emergency housing, emergency supplies of basic food, emergency supplies of drinking water and basic emergency services to the population, emergency power supply, organizing humanitarian aid).
Basic overview of the tasks and activities of humanitarian and nongovernmental organizations, humanitarian assistance to affected populations, international humanitarian action, humanitarian assistance
Preventive educational activities, institutions involved in the implementation of preventive educational activities and an overview of forms that are used or are suitable for use, review of electronic and print publications aimed at protecting the population.
Control exercises - Interpretation of selected multimedia materials issues involved.
