Synopsis:

Students learn the principles of scientific research methodology, data collection stages, hypothesis formulation, conditions of management studies, and the evaluation of results. Introduction to statistical methods and their use and interpretation. Memorized curriculum is geared to preparing dissertations and understanding of the published results of scientific studies.

Seminar: Introduction to statistical programs that use software package EPI: INFO for statistical investigation.

Statistics, basic statistical concepts.

Statistical survey.

Collecting and recording statistical data, statistical classification.

Graphical representation of data.

Statističtí indicators.

Indicators of variability.

Basics of probability.

Theoretical distribution.

Statistical tests and evaluations.

Dependence characters.

Health indicators.

Demographic statistics - population movements.

Statistical studies.

Syllabus of tutorials:

The following topics will be discussed.

Study Objective:

To acquaint students with the principles of scientific research methodology, data collection stages, hypothesis formulation, conditions of management studies, and evaluation of results.

Another part of the course is then devoted to the fundamentals of statistical methods, their use and interpretation.
