Synopsis:

II. block in addition to emergency medicine deals with the field in terms of Disaster Medicine, that focused on the incidence of multiple disabilities in mass disasters, in emergency situations, disaster relief and non-military crisis situations.

Requirements:

Required 80% attendance at seminars and proactive approach.

Syllabus of lectures:

Introduction to Trauma - traumatologickému approaches to the patient in the PNP and NNP.

Craniocerebral injury in the orofacial region of the spine and spinal cord injuries.

Injuries to the chest.

Abdominal pelvic trauma.

Limb injuries, loss injury, replantation.

Multiple trauma - definitions, characteristics, differential diagnosis and therapy in the PNP and NNP organizations access to the mass occurrence.

Physico - chemical traumas - sunburn / sunstroke, burns, burns, hypothermia, drowning and drowning, elektrotrauma, thermal trauma.

Trauma in children - general and specific procedures.

Essential medicines in the PNP.

Working in the emergency department and resuscitation, basic procedures, monitoring, instrumentation, laboratory testing, mechanical ventilation, and work with other devices bioinženýrskými.

Syllabus of tutorials:

First contact with the patient, used medical devices, equipment, tools - their preparation and therapeutic nursing plan in place events.

Technique to ensure a patent airway, artificial ventilation, oxygen therapy.

Defibrillation.

Secure access to the venous circulation.

Monitoring vital signs.

Basic and advanced emergency resuscitation.

Basic life-saving procedures and other emergency procedures, training and assistance in medical performance in the PNP.

Positioning, immobilization, secure transport.

Secured by air and land transportation means.

Study Objective:

To acquaint students with the field in terms of Disaster Medicine, that focused on the incidence of multiple disabilities in mass disasters, in emergency situations, disaster relief and non-military crisis situations.
