Synopsis:

The course gives a brief overview of the guidelines and procedures for providing emergency assistance, with special attention to the failure of vital signs and immediately life-threatening conditions. At the same time also discussed the situation of mass affected even under emergency conditions, including the phenomenon of CBRN.

Upon successful completion of the course students should be able to diagnose the failure of basic life functions, recognize the status of an imminent threat to life, to perform basic CPR and provide emergency first aid.

Requirements:

Credit: 100% active participation

Examination: The theoretical part of the test: Test successful 80% of correct answers.

The practical part of the test: demonstrate the ability to provide basic mannequin

resuscitation.

Note: The interval between the sound and repeat examination or corrective tests must be at least 14 days

Syllabus of lectures:

Single First-Aid: first aid, rescue. Emergency calls, communications with the Operations Centre, the procedure after the arrival of professional help.

Basic Cardiopulmonary resuscitation: airway management, artificial respiration from the lungs into the lungs indirect heart massage, automated external defibrillation.

How to basic resuscitation. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation of children.

Wounds. Hemostasis. External Bleeding - arterial, venous, mixed, internal bleeding, bleeding from body openings. Shock.

Other serious injuries: injuries of the skull, brain, spine and spinal cord.

Injuries to the chest and abdomen.

Musculoskeletal injuries, bone fractures, joint injuries and muscle.

Chest pain, coronary heart disease, arrhythmia.

Electric shock.

Chemical injuries: burns skin, eyes, burns to the mouth and throat, esophagus and stomach. Inhalation stifling and irritating substances.

Explosive injuries, blast and crush syndrome.

Polytrauma.

Unconsciousness, sudden stroke, intoxication, metabolic disorders.

Syllabus of tutorials:

Practical training in CPR: airway management, diagnosis of respiratory arrest, recovery position, CPR - breathing from the lungs into the lungs, mechanical ventilation with utilities, indirect heart massage

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation with the support of automated external defibrillation.

First aid techniques and equipment: undressing clothing, helmets sensing, monitoring vital signs. Material for first aid, types of dressings.

Bleeding, bleeding stopped direct compression, using compressive bandage zaškrcovala.

Hemostopem stop bleeding, stop bleeding and loss treatment of injuries. Internal bleeding, shock, symptomatic treatment positioning.

Basic bandaging technique: a scarf patch bandages, dressings obinadlové.

Treatment of injuries of the skull and spine. Injuries to the pelvic girdle and pažního, long bones and joints, treatment, methods of fixation.

Abdominal and chest injuries, first aid.

First aid in electric shock. Thermal injury.

Circulatory problems: acute chest pain, angina pectoris, acute heart failure, arrhythmia.

Difficulty breathing, airway obstruction, hanging, drowning, asthma attack.

Disorders of consciousness, fainting, sudden stroke, seizures, metabolic disorders (diabetes).

Study Objective:

The goal is to manage processes controlling disorders of vital functions, namely, unconscious, severe bleeding, respiratory and cardiac distress, and circulatory arrest, severe thermal and chemical injuries and first aid CBRNE exercise phenomenon.
