Introduction into „building and energy“ problem, theoretical background of building energy performance modelling - applied thermodynamics, solar processes, psychrometry, theory of indoor environment. Overview of modelling methods and tools.Introduction into „esp-r“ - method, climate data, materials, constructions, optical properties, load profiles. Case studies. Practical training in building energy performance modelling.

Student acquire knowledge of dynamic simulation of building energy systems phenomena on recognition level. Methods and tools for building energy systems optimization including complex simulation programs are also included.
