The course is focused on installation, configuration, and
maintenance of database systems. Students will try
administration of Oracle, PotgreSQL and MySQL DBMS during the
course.^
The main topics of lessons and discussion: installation &
configuration, database creation process, typical
maintenance (data structures, users, privileges, ...),backup and recovery issues, performance tuning.
