The subject is presented next to Nuclear medicine I but it primarily brings information about the clinical part of the branch nuclear medicine. In the subject, the students are acquainted with problems of radionuclide diagnostic and therapeutic methods. Specific problems of radiation protection at nuclear medicine institutions are furthermore presented.

History and principles of radionuclide examinations.
Types of scintigraphic examinations, static, dynamic and whole-body examination, gamma camera.
Dynamic scintigraphy: ROI, functional curves, parametric images.
Quantitative evaluation of scintigraphic examinations.
Principles of SPECT, PET.
Principles of PET/CT.
Examination methods in nephrology and urology.
Scintigraphic and functional imaging of the thyroid.
Imaging of adenomas of parathyroids, medulla and cortex of adrenal glands.
Radiation protection in nuclear medicine.
