Synopsis:

The student is acquainted with the structure of the health sector and furthermore with model of financing health services. He/she will know problems of administrative procedures at different types of institutions and their necessary interconnections. He/she will be acquainted with specific features of certain health institutions and systems of European health institutions.

Lectures:

System of healthcare in the Czech Republic. Interdisciplinary nature as a necessary prerequisite of the temporary health care.

Types and typology of staff members in health services. Types and description of typical institutions and healthcare professionals.

Methods of management in healthcare system. Administration of diagnostic and therapeutic processes.

Patient and his/her rights. Planning radiation therapy.

Healthcare professional and his/her rights.

Optimization of work at a healthcare institution.

Planning diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Keeping administration at healthcare institutions.

Specific features of management of rehabilitation institutions.

Healthcare systems in the EU.
