Basic Latin terminology, basic grammatical phenomena, understanding a non-complicated text aimed at biomedical problems.
- Requirements:

attendance at seminars: 90%, active participation.
Successful completion of a written test.
The test consists of the following components:
Part One: vocabulary. (translation from the Latin words into the language. Vocabulary for names of individual organs and body parts)
Part Two: diagnosis (diagnoses of translation to and from the Latin language)
Part Three: diagnostic and therapeutic procedures (translation to and from the practice of the Latin language)
The test contains 10 questions overall proportionally distributed to various parts of the test.
In case of successful completion of the test the student can gain 70 points, equivalent rating A.
