The individual nursing practice is presented next to the subject Special nursing practice and in enables the students to use theoretical knowledge and practical skill obtained by the study of theoretical and theoretical-practical study disciplines under conditions of clinical institutions. The clinical institutions for the teaching process are selected based on standards established.

List of processes:
The student follows physiological functions and condition of patients, performs complex hygiene care, prevention of decubiti, distribution of food for patients depending on diets prescribed, controls adhering to the drinking regimen,and provides application of heat and cold.
Performs rehabilitation nursing care including prevention of disorders due to immobility.
Performs training of self-servicing with the aim to increase the patient self-sufficiency.
Administers medicinal products except the application into veins and epidural catheters.
Takes samples of biological materials, performs examination of the biological material obtained in non-invasive way and capillary blood by semiquantitative methods (diagnostic papers).
Introduces and maintains oxygen therapy.
Under supervision, he/she prepares patients for diagnostic or therapeutic procedures depending on decisions by a physician, general nurse or midwife, assists them, and provides nursing care in these interventions and after them.
Participates in activities associated with admission, transfer and dismission of patients.
