Synopsis:

The course is suitable for intermediate students who have an equivalent

command of the language as someone who has completed book one of a language

school text book. Course objective: An ability to understand and converse

fluently in everyday situations.

technical texts about a given topic. Topics and situations:

Curriculum Vitae, job application, describing people and their

characteristics, personal relationships, travelling, public transport.

Technical texts and terminology: Basic understanding of straightforward

specialised texts. Grammar: Past simple and past perfect, present

conditional, present perfect, future II, comparatives and superlatives.
