Synopsis:

Students will be introduced into problems of methodology and acquainted with basic procedures of pedagogical approaches and work. They will acquire detailed information about specific features of people with physical involvement or long-term adverse health condition and also about philosophy, methods, specific features and possibilities of special pedagogic support of handicapped people in the educational process. They will be acquainted in details with contents and problems of logopaedics, ophthalmology, typhlopaedics, psychopaedics, surdopaedics and etopaedics.

Requirements:

credit:

100% participation in practical exercises,

demonstration of the knowledge mastered by a written test.

examination:

demonstration of the knowledge mastered by a written test, 80 % success rate.

Oral examination on the basis of the decision field supervisor.

caution: intervals between repeated examinations must not be shorter than seven days.

History of pedagogy. Scope and targets

Pedagogical trends, education of adults

Methodology of pedagogy

Physiotherapy as a pedagogical approach to the patient

Basic special pedagogy, terminology, basic classification

Possibilities of special pedagogical support of handicapped people

Basic logopaedics, ophthalmopaedics, typhlopaedics, psychopaedics, surdopaedics, etopaedics

Classification of specific disorders of learning, upbringing and education of children with specific disorders of learning

Combined defects and alternative
