Synopsis:

Basics of practical design of antennas for specific frequency bands,

modeling, design and construction of antenna and antenna systems. Antenna

measurement methods, practical measurements in antenna laboratory. Modeling

on professional software tools for antenna design.

1.Basic aspects of antenna design, transmitting and receiving antennas, modeling and design process

2.Materials for antenna construction, its electrical and mechanical properties, certification, endurance, feeding

3.Antenna measurement methods, filed strengths measurement, measurement of directional, phase and polarization parameters

4.Input impedance and gain measurements, measurements on models

5.Design of wire antennas, dipole antennas

6.Design of LF and MF and SW antennas

7.Slot antennas, patch and microstrip antennas - design

8.Helix antennas

9.Design of horn antennas and special structures

10.Design of reflector antennas

11.Lend antennas design

12.Special antenna design and construction - mobile services, RFID antennas

13.Special antenna design and construction - wideband and radar antennas

14. Antennas for cars and airplanes

Study Objective:

The knowledge of basic analysis and design of the individual type of the antennas and antenna arrays.
