Synopsis:

The course is focused on gaining practical experience with networking technologies and components of Cisco. The course material is based on teaching materials of NetAcad semesters CCNA3 and CCNA4 and pracically extends subject of Networking technology I.

Requirements:

Successfull completion of two theoretical tests and practical exam is required

1st Switched LAN Architecture

2nd Configure LAN switches

3rd The principle function of local network data partitioned into VLANs

4th Configuring VLANs, access interfaces, interface backbone

5th Configuring VTP protocol switches

6th STP Configuration Protocol switched network

7th Configuring Routing between VLANs on routers

8th The basic concept of wireless LAN networks

9th Configuring Wireless WLANs

10th Configuring two-point WAN PPP

11th Configuring routers in an Frame Relay WAN

12th The basic configuration of the security features in Cisco data network

13th Packet filtering using access rules lists - ACLs and their configuration

14th Service Configuration Address Translation - NAT and dynamic allocation of network parameters - DHCP

Study Objective:

Give students a practical knowledge in data networks using real equipment in our laboratories.
