2. Imaging in TV, objectives, MTF, PSF, distortions and aberrations of imaging systems
3. Theoretical problems of TV - spectrum of TV signal, aperture distortion, noise analysis,
4. TV colorimetry and transmission signals, chrominance vector, constant-luminance rule
5. Analogue systems NTSC,PAL - quadrature modulation, phase error compensation
6. Analogue broadcasting, satellite and terrestrial, frequency allocation, modulation
7. Circuitry of TV blocks, multistandard TV receiver, basic functional blocks
8. Source image compression techniques - DPCM, DCT with quantization, VLC, RLC
