Synopsis:

Tensor analysis. Curvature and Einstein gravitational law. Schwarzschild solution of Einstein equations. Black holes and gravitational collapse.

Requirements:

Knowledge of general relativity is presumed on the level of 02OR lecture.

Syllabus of lectures:

1.-2. Tensor analysis - recalling and additions.

3.-4. Curvature.

5.-6. Einstein's gravitational law.

7.-8. Schwarzschild's solution of Einstein equations.

9. Analytical extension of Schwarzschild metric.

10.-11. More general solutions of Einstein equations describing stationary black holes.

12. Gravitational collapse.
