L01E: Decibels; Power; Gain; Computation of FSPL; Electromagnetic wave propagation.
L02E: Antennas; Antenna definition; Antenna gain; Antenna polarization; Different antenna types, their polarizations and radiation patterns (ideal antenna, ideal dipole, horn antenna, microstrip antenna, spiral antenna, fractal antenna, Yagi-Uda, patch antenna, parabolic antennas).
L03E: Antenna arrays; Electromagnetic spectrum; Phenomena of electromagnetic waves (reflection, refraction, scatter, the wave energy); Definition of communication channel (S, T, F, C); Distribution of communication channels (SDMA, TDMA, FDMA, CDMA); Allocation of communication channels (uplink, downlink, energy); Analogue modulation techniques (AM, FM, PM); Digital modulation techniques (ASK, PSK, FSK, BASK, QASK, BPSK, QPSK, BFSK, QFSK).
L04E: Spectral frequency allocation (FHSS, DSSS - MacGyver double piano, OFDM); Access to a shared channel (Aloha, Slotted Aloha, CSMA/CD, CSMA/CA; MACAW; deterministic; BTMA=Busy Tone Multiple Access, 802.11); Collisions and problems (hidden node, exposed node); Network types (ad-hoc, infrastructure, mobilni, hybrid, etc.); Localisation (GPS, sector antennas, Delaunay).
