Synopsis:

The teaching is focused on European architecture of the Renaissance and Baroque periods (15th to 18th century). The stress is laid on Italian architecture of the Renaissance and Baroque periods, on French Baroque architecture and on Czech High Baroque works (Santini, Dientzenhofer).

Study Objective:

The aim of the course is to acquaint students with early modern architecture, especially with the new construction skills, which led to the change in the expression of architecture.
