This course is set up for the students who study English as a minor language and their kwnoledge of English corresponds to Level A2 in the Council of Europe Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The course continues on from the Winter Term and is set up for beginners and „false beginners“.

Course Objective: developing and sustaining students´basic knowledge of English language gained in the Winter Term.
Topics - lexis, listening, speaking: family, clothing, television, shopping, health, parts of body, daily activities, computer terms, friends, traffic, talking about stories, nature, weather, travelling.
Grammar: present continuous, future forms, comparative and superlative adjectives, past participles, present perfect, questions, past continuous, passives.
Writing: physical and character description, online application to appear on a TV show, describing objects, traffic situations in a town, a story.
