The subject is devoted to an introduction to the multimedia (audio and video) technology. It deals with fundamentals of audio and video sensing, signal processing, broadcasting, recording and reproduction including physiology of hearing and vision. The broad overview of these topics is given.

9. Studio audio technology - basic electroacoustic transducers, signal recording
10. Studio video technology - image recording techniques, supplemental services
