Department of Telecommunications Engineering
Synopsis:

Subject Switching systems presents review of solution principles for switching systems. It contains solutions for switching fields, control systems and review of signalisations for switching control (in central office as well in networks). Deals mainly with digital switching systems with circuit commutation as well as transport ATM cells. Also contains basic consideration about convergence of voice and data services including expected development of new generation networks with respect to philosophy and services of inteligence network.
