Computer algebra system Maple is used to demonstrate basic mathematical concepts that students encounter in subjects Mathematics 1 (XE01MA1) and Introductory Algebra (XE01ALG). Seminars provide both computational and graphical examples with particular emphasis on problems whose solution without Maple is either difficult or impossible.
