The course aims to enable the students from non-electrotechnical secondary schools to get deeper knowledge and practical experience and skills in applying physics information about electrotechnics in electric power devices. On practical calculations, experiments and their evaluation the usage of basic physical laws and propositions is shown.

1. Electric current and voltage, resistance of the circuit, DC and AC form, basic safety rules, laboratory system RC2000
2. Experiments with the system RC2000
3. Industrial production of electrical energy in power plants
4. Other sources of electric current
5. Transmission of electrical energy
6. Conversion of electrical energy for power applications
7. Electric consumers
8. Magnetic field caused by electric current and practical use of force caused by electric current
9. Use of electrical energy for information purposes
10. Control and regulation circuits
11. Technical requirements for electric products and equipments and ecological aspects of their production and use including EMC
12. Materials for electric equipments (overview of most important materials and their use, physical characteristics, demonstration of selected materials
13. Testing of materials for electric equipments (technical diagnostics in the phase of material processing and of production and use of electric equipments, simple experiment); FINAL TEST
