Data communication principles, basic terms and definitions. Data services in telecommunication neworks. Switching principles in public data networks (PDNs). Application of RMOSI for PDNs. Basic and supplementary services in PDNs, quality of services. Technical equipment for PDNs, user interfaces, communication protocols. Network numbering plan, tariff principles. Interconnection of PDNs with others telecommunication networks.
