- Synopsis:

The course deals with basic overview of cross-cutting issues of telecommunications services. In addition to describing the OSI reference model and basic telecommunications services, including classification of telematics services. Detail describes the most important telematics services and other services used in applications teleinformatic (radio services and operated by Power networks - PLC).
- Requirements:

Students get to translate part of the problem teleinformatic systems. Translation takes place in a foreign language into Czech language. It monitors the use of correct terminology Czech. The translation must be tendered prior to the examination and conduct a follow-expert discussions.
The course is completed successfully passing the examination.

Classification of telecommunication services, TELETEX, TELETEXT, elektronic
mail, MHS X.400,. Multimedia, computer processing of audiosignals,
electronic musical instruments, MIDI, computer processing of images,
services of document telegraphy, remote operation services, ISDN services,
current trends in multimedia technology.

All electrical engineering PhD students will learn the basic telecommunications services in terms of their technical principles and their application. This is a classic, telematics and other new services, including technology using high-voltage lines and networks for the transmission of messages.
