- Synopsis:
-
Analyses and syntheses of microwave circuits based on scattering parameters, oriented graphs and Smith chart is described. Special attention is given to microwave transmission lines (coaxial, microstrip and coplanar), waveguides (rectangular, circular, pi and H, dielectric) and resonators (line section, cavity, Fabry Perot, dielectric). Basic types of microwave circuits, both passive and active (e.g. attenuators, couplers, isolators and circulators, modulators, oscillators, mixers and amplifiers) are discussed.
