Project oriented subject devoted to principles and designs of basic microwave circuits: amplifiers, oscillators, detectors, mixers. CAD software tools for microwave circuits design. Microwave transistors, bipolar, MESFET and HEMPT. Basic parameters of amplifiers. Design of narrow- and wide-band amplifiers. Design of low-noise amplifiers. Microwave diode and transistor oscillators. Microwave detectors. Mixers, diode and balanced.
