Synopsis:

The subject follows the course ET1 and is focused on induction heating systems and systems of electrical heating of interiors by heat pumps and hybrid systems.

1. Electromagnetic fields in conductive materials

2. Principles of induction electroheat devices

3. Induction channel furnaces, theory, examples, operational properties

4. Induction crucible furnaces, theory, examples, operational properties

5. Heating of ferromagnetic materials, coupled tasks

6. Induction cooking, advanced induction techniques

7. Electric sources for induction and dielectric heating systems

8. Air conditioning, thermodynamics of the wet air

9. Heat pump, principle, examples, use

10. Thermal and electrical design of the systems of heating and hot water preparation

11. Hydraulic design of the systems of heating and hot water preparation

12. Optimization techniques in electroheat

13. Educational visit

14. Present tasks of electroheat

1. Calculations of electromagnetic, heat and mechanical situations in the channel furnace

2. Crucible induction furnace design - substituting electrical circuit parameters determinition

3. Crucible induction furnace design - electrical calculations

4. Crucible induction furnace design -thermal calculations

5. Crucible induction furnace design - coil cooling system design

6. Ferromagnetic cylinder heating- by SW Mathematica

7. The electrical circuit of heating of the ferromagnetic cylinder- by SW Mathematica

8. Interior climate tasks in SW Mathematica

9. Thermodynamic state changes in the wet air

10. Circuits with heat exchangers- by SW Mathematica

11. Circuits with heat pumps- by SW Mathematica

12. Basic use of the genetic algorithm package for Mathematica
