Synopsis:

The course contains basic knowledge essential for design of control blocks for power electronic equipments, semiconductor converters and electric drives with anphasis on microprocessor engineering. Signal types and circuits for their adjustment and processing, applicable technical means based on analog, digital and microprocessor technique, sensors and actuators and rules for realisation of systems are examined

Requirements:

Specified participation on labs, solution of tasks

Syllabus of lectures:

1. Basic concepts, structure of drives control circuits, development of micro-technique

2. Circuitry solution of microcontroller INTEL 196

3. Instruction set of microcontroller INTEL 196

4. One-board microcomputer EV80C196KB and his program equipment

5. Development of program equipment for microprocessor control elements

6. Examples for solution of the basic control algorithm blocks

7. Signals and their processing in electric drives technique, analog and digital control

8. Signals conversion and mathematical operations with analog signals

9. The basic connection of analog regulators, usability, setup of regulator parameters

10. Circuits for adjustment of signals, galvanic separation, switching pulses generation

11. Logic functions and circuits, logic kits, methods of design

12. Circuitry controller, microprogrammable controller, phase hinge, interface circuits

13. Sensors and actuators used in electric drives

14. Cabling of automatic control systems, interference and protection

1. Safety rules for the laboratory, acquitation with kits for analog technique

2. Using of a memory scoop and a logic analyser

3. Computer elaboration of results, examination of the basic operating amplifiers connections

4. Sensors in electric drives

5. Assignment of the individual task on analog technique

6. Solution of the individual task

7. Check of the individual task

8. Practice with microcontroller INTEL 196 - port access, timing

9. Program support of serial communication

10. A-D conversion

11. HSI/HSO unit

12. Assignment of the individual task on microprocessor technique
