Analysis of switching component principles and solid state (SS) switching circuits. Semiconductor switching elements and their control. Single and three-phase solid state switches, different configuration of switching elements. Voltage and current stress analysis of switching components. Solid state switch for DC circuits. Solid state switch over-current and over-voltage protection.
- Requirements:

Active participation on solution of laboratory tasks, correct book-keeping of measurement documentation and results processing. Presentation of measurement reports.
