Electrochemical sources. Batteries, accumulators, principles, construction, technology, parameters. Operating conditions. Charge regulators, convertors. Photovoltaic sources. Operating principles, characteristics. Solar modules, construction and technology. Basic types of photovoltaic systems and their applications. Operating conditions.Thermoelectric sources. Principles, construction, technology and basic applications.

2.Primary cells - construction, characteristics, parameters.

3.Accumulators - summary. Lead acid accumulators.

4.Alkaline accumulators.

5.Accumulators for special applications.

6.Standard and quick charging.

7.Applications of accumulators for independent sources.

8. Solar energy and photovoltaic effect exploitation.

9. Solar cells, structure and characteristics.

10.Single-crystalline, poly-crystalline, microcrystalline and amorphous solar cells.

11.Photovoltaic modules, construction and technology, characteristics.

12.Basic types of photovoltaic systems.

13.Operating conditions, reliability.

14.Thermoelectric sources. Principle, construction, technology and basic applications.
