Synopsis:

Quantitative and qualitative balance of power machine. Base operation properties of machine systems in power engineering. Regulation of machine systems of power plants. Influence of regulation on working point power plant. Searching of energy saving in power plant. Optimisation of operation conditions of power machines in power plants.

Requirements:
Syllabus of lectures:

1. Basic energy transformation of power engineering, qualitative evaluation, exergy utilisation for working optimise.

2. Machine systems for transport liquid and gas; expend energy, working characteristics.

3. Influence change of power output or number of heat exchangers on working parameter regeneration.

4. Condensation, cooling water circulation, failure condensation, forced out put of steam condenser.

5. Impulse and reaction steam turbines, working characteristics, possibilities of regulation.

6. Steam turbine with change flow of steam, influence regulation on efficiency of power plant.

7. Steam generators, basic qualitative and quantitative balance, operating characteristic and regulation.

8. Combustion process and ecology, sulphur removal, exploitation of combustible, trends.

9. Bleeder turbine, regulation, cogeneration units, ecology and economy effects.

10. Modern combined cycles, properties, contemporary condition, trend.

11. Systems for long distance traffic of heat, working problems, power consumption.

12. Secondary cycle of atomic power plant, function, working and regulation properties, safety and ecology problems.

13. Waste energy, exploitation, heat pump, working possibilities, limit of application.

14. Hydroelectric power plants, basic types of hydraulic turbines, energy balance, regulation.

Syllabus of tutorials:

1. Basic calculation of working parameters for applicable energetic heat cycles, basic operating parameters.

2. Qualitative balance of basic energy transformations for applicable energetic heat cycles.

3. Qualitative balance of regeneration heating, working optimisation.

4. Working point of water centrifugal pump, proposal of regulation, energy saving.

5. Power consumption of centrifugal fun for combustion products and air, optimisation of power consumption.

6. Change working parameters with failure HP and LP regenerative heat exchangers. Influence on efficiency.

7. Influence of basic failure on working parameters of steam condenser and cooling water circulation.

8. Influence basic regulation method of power output on efficiency and economy parameters power plant.

9. Calculation influence change of flow steam in turbine on parameters regenerative heat of feed water.

10. Basic qualitative and quantitative balance of steam generator, calculation losses, volume combustion products.

11. Calculation basic parameters for determine of ecology and economy effects cogeneration production.

12. Energy balance of secondary cycle of atomic power plant JETE, separator's and turbine's balance,

13. Calculation of industry heat pump cycles, energy balance, heating factor.

14. Basic balance of hydroelectric power plant.
