Knowledge from the fisrst course in Material Science.

5. Gas-shielded arc welding.

6. Plasme welding and cutting.

7. Oxyacetylene welding and cutting.

8. Resistance welding.

9. Electorn beam welding.Laser welding and cutting. Ultrasound- a cold-welding

10. Ultrasonic bonding.Thermocompression.Solid state welding.

11. Soldering. Application in electronics.

12. Glueing.

13. Aspects of optimization for production.

14. Computer controled process-monitoring.Automation. Welding robots.
