Synopsis:

Compulsory course for subject heavy-current electrical engineering. Operation properties of power machine equipment of power plant. Optimisation of operation conditions of power machines and mechanical systems for power plants. Searching of energy saving in industry activity.

Requirements:
Syllabus of lectures:

1. Machine for liquid transport, basic principal, working point and operating characteristic of pump systems.

2. Optimum choice of regulation, working optimisation, power consumption.

3. Machine for gas transport, basic principal, working point and operating characteristic of systems.

4. Method choice of regulation, working optimisation, power consumption.

5. Steam turbine, basic principal, basic properties and output characteristics of basic type turbines.

6. Equipment of generation water steam, basic types, operating characteristic and regulation

7. Operating bond of basic machine equipment of power engineering.

8. Basic types of energetic systems, working property, transformation ability.

9. Heat pumps, energy balance, regulation, economy and ecology effects

10. Long-distance transport of gases and liquids, power consumption.

11. Development of power engineering, combined cycles, economy and ecology effects.

12. Atomic power station, energy balance, economy and ecology effects.

13. Hydroelectric power plant, operating characteristic and basic types of water turbines.

14. Ecology problem of power engineering, trends of development.

Syllabus of tutorials:

1. Proposal parameters of pipe system power consumption of pump system.

2. Choice hydraulic pump for functional articles, change of working point.

3. Choice regulation of hydraulic system, co-operation of water pumps.

4. Influence of working characteristics on power consumption, multistage compression.

5. Calculation pressure deprivation of long pipe system for transport of gas

6. Saving of energy at work of positive displacement and centrifugal compressors.

7. Energy balance of basic types steam turbines, choice of regulation.

8. Basic energy balance of generation water steam, efficiency, and basic losses.

9. Influence of breakdown on working parameters of heat circulation.

10. Basic energy balance of heat pump, ecology and economy balance.

11. Power consumption of gas pipeline and water pipeline.

12. Basic energy balance of combined cycles, economy and ecology effects.

13. Basic energy balance of secondary cycle of atomic power station,

14. Energy balances of water turbines, operating characteristic, hydroelectric power plant in Czech republic.
