Synopsis:

Air communication service and its tasks. Communication systems in HF and VHF band, basics and design. Data transmission systems for aircrafts. Satellite data links. Lectures respect air rules ICAO and RTCA recommendations. Obtained knowledge is useful for aircraft industry and operations.

4. Basic digital modulations (MSK, M-PSK)

5. Design of transceivers for aircrafts

6. Air communication service in HF and VHF band

8. Data transmission systems in VHF band (VDL mode 1 and 2)

9. Application of VDL mode 1 and 2 - ACARS, AOA

10. Digitalized voice transmission in VHF band (VDL mode 3)

11. ADS - B system - VDL mode 4

12. Data transmission in HF band

13. Satellite service

14. LAAS - DGPS correction transmission channel

8. Packet VDL mode 2. Principles of access to CSMA radio network

10. TDMA and structure of VDL mode 3 frame

11. Structure of VDL mode 4 frame. Access to radio network.

12. Mechanical and climatic requirements to equipments of aircraft
