Synopsis:

Parameters of analog and digital communication systems. Communication test instruments, sources of test signals, data sequences and noise. Measurement of noise parameters. Simulators of multiway propagation in communication channel. Measuring circuits components. Measurement of orthogonal digital modulation parameters (power, MER, EVM, BER, ...), measurement and analysis of vector and constellation diagrams. Signal analyzers, swept vs. FFT, conception and development.

4. PRBS test generators, standard formats (GSM, DVB)

5. Phase noise measurement methods

6. Simulators of multiway propagation in communication channel

7. Measuring circuits components, combiners and splitters, coupling and matching circuits

8. Measurement of orthogonal modulation parameters, MER, EVM, TEV, STEM, STED

9. BER of orthogonal modulations, measurement of quadrature error (QE), I/Q imbalance

10. Measurement and analysis of vector and constellation diagrams

11. Power parameters of digital communication systems, PEP, EPF, IPF, PSD, ACPR

12. Measurement of BER in communication systems

13. Phase jitter (Jitter, Wander), simulation and measurement, UI, TIE, MTIE and TDEV definition

14. Signal analyzer, swept vs. FFT, conception and development
