- Synopsis:
-
Students will obtain the transmission technologies SDH (Synchronous Digital Hierarchy) and WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplex) used in telecommunication networks and functional principles of the transmission and digital switching systems used in NGN (Next generation network, VoIP). The main subjects are physical media parameters, access and backbone transmission technology, optical transmission systems.
