The course is intended for students of cybernetics and measurements branch. It includes a survey of contemporaneous state of used board information and control systems of both civil and military aircraft. The course is focused on their hierarchical structures, their subsystems and their interconnection. Certain attention is devoted to the aircraft engines, their control and state monitoring. Basic information is given about military aircrafts and their weapon systems.

2. Basic subsystems of information and control systems and their interconnections
3. Reliability of information and control systems and their subsystems
4. Primary and secondary displays and their connection to flight and navigation systems
5. Displaying of military aircraft - head-up displays, light panels and central alert
6. Control aircraft strategy by means of classical board equipments and by electronic displays
7. Stand-by displaying in modern information and control systems, their importance and connection
8. Information and control system for tourist and sport aircraft
9. Aircraft engines control (FADEC etc.) and monitoring
10. Flight management systems, their structure and classification, FBW (Fly by Wire) system
11. Flight dynamics stabilization - autopilots, their role in flight control systems
12. Aircraft guidance, problems, systems, information processing and control laws
13. Weapons systems, their sorts and management. Ways of electronic fight
14. Flight mission, take-off of overloaded aircraft, cross flight, aiming, mission fulfilling, return
