Synopsis:

Actual conception of telecommunications is determined by the interaction of three basic components: level of technical development, state of legislative environment and by the comportment of the market. Students are familiarized with those components such a way to have good COMPLEX view about (Czech and world-wide) telecommunications to allow them to apply acquired knowledge and skills during their next studies and in their future business practice.

Requirements:

Assessment conditions: presence and successful presentation of the semester project.

The exam is written and oral. The minimum requirement is 60% correct answers to the given questions.

6.Circuit and Packet Oriented Communication. Network Nodes Functions.

7.Narrowband and Wideband Integrated Services Digital Networks.

8.Cellular Networks. Network Interconnections.

9.State Administration in Telecommunications. Network Plans. Market Liberalization Elements.

10.Telecommunication Market Regulation. Standardization.

11.Telecommunication Market (Structure, Dimensions, Segmentation, Development,)

12.Telecommunication Services Market. Telecommunication Equipment Market..

13.Telecommunication Operator (Structure, Key Systems, Key Activities).

14.Conclusion = Attempt on the Forecast of Future Development. Back-up Class.
