Synopsis:

The course is base for student, which want practically designed circuits of the digital signal processing with the signals? processors and specialised circuits. Attention is concentration to realisation of the modulators and circuit of the numerical conversion of the signal, which contains in the communication chain. Dominantly is concentration to effective realization with minimal computing power.

Requirements:

In the course suppose the knowledge of the ground digital a microprocessor?s technique.

Syllabus of lectures:

1. Numerical implementation discrete system with representation of the numbers

2. Statistical analysis operations in floating and fixes point representation

3. Digital signal processor, architecture, busies, generators of the addresses

4. Arithmetical-Logic Unit in DSP, addressing and memory lacation

5. Implementation DDS, implementation with linear, circular a symmetrical addressing

6. Reducing and increasing of the sampling rate, using in measurement

7. Efficient implementation filters with reducing and increasing of the sampling rate

8. Reverse addressing, implementation FFT a circuits OFDM modulator

9. Parallel program in LSA for the structure VLIW

10. Circuits for the realisation subsystems digital signal processing

11. Efficient implementation circuits of the digital receiver

12. Implementation digital mixer by DSP

13. Increasing computing performance of the DSP. Multiprocessors systems

14. Architectures and important attributes of the multiprocessors systems

Syllabus of tutorials:

1. Description of the discrete system, simulation transfer function of the systém

2. Mathematical aspects of the realization DS, quantization of the coefficients, dynamic range

3. Instruction set of the processor TMS320C5416

4. Characteristics of the TMS320C5416 DSK board and simulator

5. Design of the filter FIR with using of the program Matlab, implementation of the problem

6. Realisation of the filter FIR with linear and cyclic addressing

7. Realisation of the filter FIR in the DSK board

8. Design and simulation generator signal with two fixed frequencies

9. Realisation of the generator harmonics signal

10. Design and simulation of the digital modulator FSK

11. Realisation of the digital modulator FSK in the evaluation board

12. Realisation of the IIR filter with linear and cyclic addressing

13. Design and realisation of the demodulator FSK in the evaluation board

14. Realization of homework
