Lecturer:
Tutor:
Supervisor:
Department of Control Engineering
Synopsis:

The scope of this course is to present selected topics from the recent developments of the control theory with a special accent on the description and derivation of algorithms. Methods of the adaptive control will be presented, also for nonlinear systems. Further we deal with algorithms for the decomposition of large-scale systems and hierarchical and decentralized control of complex systems. The control of distributed-parameter systems will be described at the end of the course together with selected numerical methods and some examples of such systems.

Requirements:

Linear systems theory, nonlinear systems, calculus (differential equations, functions of several variables, optimization), statistics
