Course objective: The ability to speak, write, understand and read basic Czech. Topics and situations: The main emphasis is put on conversation (asking the way, public transport and provincial transport).
Everyday topics (education, health, politics, culture). Grammar: Tenses and (perfect and imperfect) aspect of the verb, prepositional phrases, conjunctions, modal verbs, the conditional, complex sentences (main and relative clauses), word formation.
