Synopsis:

The course is suitable for students who have a good knowledge of the material covered in secondary school in that language. Course objective: A knowledge of the language necessary for understanding fully and communicating fluently in everyday situations for experts working in the field of electronic engineering and for understanding technical texts.

Course objective: A knowledge of the language necessary for understanding fully and communicating fluently in everyday situations for experts working in the field of electronic engineering and for understanding technical texts. Topics and situations: Engineer´s profession, buying electrical devices, telephone calls, formal and informal letters, contracts, orders, papers of students, discussion.

Technical texts and terminology: Reading and analysis of specialised texts (pollution of the atmosphere, microelectronics, quantum electronics, cybernetics, automatic control theory. Grammar: Grammatical concepts used in technical texts, verb agreement with a compound subject, nominal expressions, participles, transitive, reading mathematical expressions and operations, secondary prepositions.
