Synopsis:

The course is open to advanced students with a good knowledge of the language. Course objectives: Developing and practicing the four language skills. The course follows up with the X04S2Z.

Requirements:

The course is open to those who have knowledge on the level of the X04S2Z, shown either by an assessment (zápočet) or a corresponding result in a placement test. Assessments (zápočty): The student must achieve a minimum of 75 points out of 100, i.e. for attendance and active work at lessons (30), homework (25), oral presentation (15) and a successful result of the final test (30 points).

Outline of Syllabus of Exercises: Course objective: Learning and practicing the four language skills: understanding the spoken language, understanding a text, conversation and writing. Developing vocabulary with new themes, learning idioms, saying and proverbs. Stress is laid on individual work. Developing the knowledge of life and institutions of the Spanish speaking countries. Practicing the use of complex grammar structures. Conversation: Social life, tourism, environment, health, mass media. Grammer: subjunctive of perfect, subjunctive of past perfect, the use of subjunctives in the sequence of tenses, past conditional, perfect gerund, conjunctions, prepositions.
