Department of Circuit Theory
Synopsis:

This subject deals with sampled-data analog circuits, namely switched-capacitor (SC) and switched-current (SI) circuits. It explains problems of sampled-data circuit description and differences to the continuous-time circuit behavior. An attention is devoted to the circuit analysis and simulation and suitable software means. The main building blocks are described including circuit design and non-ideal circuit properties. Circuit design and optimization technique is explained and discussed, together with constraints given by technological requirements. Practical design examples of filters, converters and other circuits are presented.
