Department of Control Engineering
Synopsis:

This subject contains a review of classical automation equipment. Operation

principles, main parameters and characteristics and industrial applications

of continuous, discontinuous, logical, digital and fuzzy devices are

discussed. Further it deals with the problems of equithermal control,

control of heating, self-tuning algorithms of PID controllers, disturbances

of control circuits elimination, ARW circuits, electrical, pneumatic and

hydralic actuators. The examples of typical applications are indicated.
